Dry Ice Blasting is an Eco-friendly non-abrasive process approved by the USDA, EPA & FDA. The process was introduced to NASA over 35 years ago and many major corporations as well as the military use it regularly.
Dry ice cleaning is a "green" process that uses small pellets of recycled carbon dioxide to clean a surface. The pellets sublimate (turning from solid directly to gas) during the cleaning process. The carbon dioxide gas is absorbed by trees and plants and converted into carbon (plant growth) and oxygen. Dry ice blasting is really "green" recycling at its best.
Dry ice blasting does not contribute to greenhouse gasses and no hazardous wastes are produced. With basic safety precautions, the work process is safe. No ozone-depleting chemicals are used and there is no exposure to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).

"To provide the absolute best value in dry ice blast cleaning services to our customers utilizing environmentally responsible products and safe work practices"
This business was conceived when partners Karen & Tracy, who were both at a crossroads in their careers, decided to start a business together. Partner Tracy used the dry ice blasting process when she was in the Coast Guard. Karen, who has a lot of business experience, ran with the ball and signed up for the Spark Entrepreneurship program via the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. After working with representatives from the MSBDC, Score, and the Chamber, the business finally became a reality in 2018.
